Just back from a week at this place with my family, 9 of us altogether, from ages 3 to 57! What a beautiful place this was to relax, everything you could want, something to keep us all occupied! Beautiful scenery all around, felt like you was in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful, but close enough to go to a shop or a beach. The grounds were beautifully kept, the house was gorgeous, everywhere was very clean and very comfortable. The owners are lovely, very welcoming and friendly, on hand should you need anything but they leave you alone to enjoy your holiday, although it was nice to see Heather and have a little chat as she is so lovely. Highly reccomend this place, and can't wait to go back!

Just back from a week at Wold House cottage, what a fab place. I can honestly say that staying here was so relaxing and although there was 8 of us, you could easily find time for yourself within the spacious rooms and grounds. Spent our evenings playing snooker or lazing in the hot tub with a wee gin. The area round the pool is simply idyllic, our weather was amazing so got to take advantage of the loungers and the pool. They even have a pets corner to entertain kids! The barbecue was a godsend too, used it almost every night. For going out and about, you are really well situated for the coast or taking a trip to the nearby cities. When we return to Yorkshire, Wold House Cottage will definitely be our go-to (as long as they'll have us!!) Great hosts, great venue, great holiday, what more could you ask for ... huge thanks to the Palmers for a truly fantastic week :-)
