Awful is the only word I can think of at the moment.... Been in this morning for a sausage sandwich on bloomer bread to take away. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, the menu for breakfast is confusing at best. When the sandwich eventually came out it was on a plate, not in a bag. The staff member faffed about looking for a bag, all the while letting the sandwich go cold. To top it off, it arrived in two of the thinnest slices of pre sliced white soggy bread not the bloomer as promised. To say they sell such lovely bread, what they produced was an insult. For a new concern looking to grow a business, they need to vastly up their game (and its not cheap either, to add insult to injury!!). Reference to the response from management - I was not having a bad day, the service was absolutely dreadful but rather than taking responsibility, the management have chosen to blame the customer. Interesting that this business is now closed??

What a dead loss this place is!! We looked online to check it was open & walked from Barmston for an hour in the cold & wind to find its closed yet again?? Seems to be closed more than its open, why can't they let you know on websites its not open, Also we booked here in summer for 4 people for afternoon tea & when we arrived the owner hadn't even written my booking in the diary, we had to wait nearly an hour for it preparing wouldn't go again. Its a shame as it could be such a brilliant place as not much around this area.
