Sage Doors Holiday Cottages

We wanted a quiet getaway from it all and we were delighted with our stay at Raleigh Barn! Lovely location, very clean and tidy and everything you could want from a cottage holiday. Very warm welcome from the owners, and a delicious cream tea awaited our arrival. A nice touch was being able to have a food shop delivered and all put away in the fridge before we got there! Would highly recommend and we hope to go again in the future. Many thanks again!

We ( my wife, our son and I) had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage for the last week of August. As soon as we walked through the doors we fell in love with the place. The beautiful decor throughout the cottage, immaculate cleanliness, the presentation in every room and the nice small touches that made a big difference. Our son loved the morning visits from Sally the dog! We can't wait to go back. Thank you. Steve, Emma and Jake.

My partner and I had such a memorable and wonderful time staying at Raleigh Lodge. This place is definitely worth the stay if you would like somewhere relaxing, quiet, very clean and modern with beautiful decor associating nature eco friendliness with marvellous hospitality. Facility: Everything was clean, new and well maintained. Taking a shower in a very clean bathroom was such a pleasure after a busy day out. Due to allergies, I struggle with some accommodation, but Raleigh Lodges hygiene level was like being in a nice hotel. The bed was very soft and comfortable, I was able to sleep well. Cooking equipment and cutlery were fully prepared and clean. It would be enjoyable for longer stays having the ability to cook. Decor: Very modern natural chic style. The interior design harmonised well with nature. We could tell the owners are very environmentally aware and eco-friendly systems are used. Every part of the lodge was photogenic. Hospitality: We felt a warm welcome as soon as we entered the lodge. The owners, Myles and Sarah, prepared local traditional scones, clotted cream and jam with a card explaining. Living flowers (from the surrounding area) arranged in a vase gave fresh energy to the beautiful room. When we left, fortunately we were able to meet Myles and Sarah and they wanted to make sure that we were happy. Such lovely people. Overall, if I was the owner of this lodge, the level we experienced was everything I could possibly offer to make guests feel comfortable and satisfied. In fact, if I was, I might not be able to offer the same level as Myles and Sarah. We cannot stop appreciating them. We would definitely love to come back.
