Do not put your family in here. At the Weekends the residents are put in there nightwear at dinner time and taken to bed after there tea. I moved my relative because of my concerns.

I worked at the care home for just under 9 months, and left due too unexpected circumstances and loved my time here and couldnt disagree more with the negative comments, we worked tirelessly 8 or 14 hours a day if we had to pick up shifts or do doubles due too low amount of staff to make sure the residents were happy and content every hour of everyday, and during these shifts I can assure you more or less every single day we didnt get our half an hour dinner/break we were entitled too due too being so busy and making sure the residents were up fed/dressed/toileted and comfortable ect, the list is endless, we would get a quick 5 minute break to ourselves in the morning and afternoon if that, the girls made sure all visitors were welcomed and felt comfortable and always assisted to any of their wants, residents/visitors very rarely complained and always used to compliment us on how good we do our job because they could see how hard we worked. The staff would always go above and beyond for the residents and have genuine treasured relationships with the residents and the residents appreciate the staff just as much, and the most of the negative comments are fake accounts with fake names not connected to any of the residents, I have never once heard of whilst working there and is definitely bitter ex staff making up fake scenarios to give the care home bad reviews

Archmoore Care home is not safe, to expect a group of school leavers to be able to care for dementia service users is just not safe. I have visited throughout the Lockdown and been able to have a visit with my friend outdoors. Whilst sitting there all staff are outside having cigarettes and talking about their personal life in close contact to us both. My concerns are who is watching the service users. I spent a whole hour on a visit and the staff must have been there for the full duration. I have brought these issues forward as my friend has missing toiletries and clothes and the girl in charge she stands there very vague. We have no updates and if I ring to speak to my friend , staff tell me no they are to busy. The only activity is playing music to suit the staff at full blast. Please avoid putting your family in the care home as they will be left at risk.
