East Leake Post Office

Very good service from the retail aspect of the Post Office. Manish is excellent. If there is something you would like that is not in stock he always does his best to get it for you. Great to have this amenity in our community.

I'm a fairly easy going person and don't normally rush to Google to leave a review but I feel it's warranted in this case. It's all I can do in the hope people will drive past this post office to the next one, however far, just to avoid such a negative customer experience. For those interested; there is a really quite rude member of staff. I made quite an innocent mistake, I never post things and I unknowingly dared to take an envelope to the counter, incorrectly assuming they would be able to sell it to me as well as post the parcel. Fine, a mistake, don't tell me off like a schoolboy and speak to me like that. Even if you're having a bad day or this happens a lot. NB, the retail staff were lovely. No complaints there.

Great service tonight from Manish. He made posting our last minute gifts so much easier by building up our small parcel box and providing sellotape - knew there was something missing when I left the house in a rush to not miss the post! Thank you from one slightly frazzled shopper!

I have never frequented a shop where the staff are less helpful than this post office. Im sure they have a check list of reasons why they cant accept your parcel and pick the most absurd one. I can only assume they are frustrated doctors receptionists who are in the wrong job. Good luck to you all if you want to post something!!
