Cannot recommend highly enough - fantastically responsive service, so helpful, delivered what they promised when they promised. Really prompt responses to e-mails, pleasant, courteous, I only wish other companies could take a leaf out of their book. Thanks, Grumpy Joe!

READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY... I bought an 8 x 4ft aluminium stage to use for my dance fitness classes, as the website stated, "ideal for performers, artists" - the stage was NOT secure whatsoever, the stage kept moving side to side, forward and back whilst I was teaching. I was having to jump off to push it back against the wall. Completely unsuitable for purpose and therefore, entitled to a refund. However, this wasn't my biggest issue. I had purchased the stage for 426, including 100 delivery & VAT. When the stage was delivered to the venue that I teach, the delivery note stated "no one available to help carry. Tuffnells staff member dragged item in on his own". My stage (55kg) had been dragged across the car park into the venue. I sent this to Grumpy Joe's and they said they couldn't make a claim to Tuffnells (20 days later) as it was too late, they wouldn't accept a claim. Rubbish. I then was told by Grumpy Joe's (Keith) that if I wanted a refund for my item, to use my own courier to send the item back, no problem. A different person (Mary) then offered to collect the item from the venue as they knew it would be an awkward task to send back, which seemed odd but I accepted. They stated that I would receive my refund with less 10% handling fee as they were collecting, to which I wanted confirmation that I would receive 383.40 (refund of item including my original delivery). They argued that because THEY had taken a loss of delivery by collecting it from me that they would refund 50 for my original delivery cost AND take 10% off for handling. I told them that I was not satisfied with this and that I would ONLY accept the 10% deduction for collection. Once they had collected the item, they then refunded me ONLY 330. After contacting the Consumer Rights help, I knew I was well within my rights (Consumer Act 2015 CRA) to be put back in the position I was in BEFORE purchasing anything from this company. I was here 96.00 out of pocket, with no stage and extremely displeased. I wrote letters informing them of my rights, giving them notice to refund me fully and there would be no further contact. They have completely ignored my letters, still only sent me 330 leaving me & my VERY small business 96.00 out of pocket. All because "they didn't want to lose out". The customer service of this place is genuinely awful. I hate to think how many other small businesses they've done this to. I now have to go through my bank to receive my full refund and they will have to contact Grumpy Joe's directly... the company is named appropriately. Absolute waste of time, energy & MY money.

Used to work here back in November 2021. Mary who is owner of the business called me verbally abusing me baring in mind I'm 18 and verbally abusing me over the phone because I asked for my pay?!?! Granted I'm 18 and I'm an adult, but no one should take this sort of abuse from staff in a company ESPECIALLY not from the owner of the business who should know better than to bully an 18 year old and her staff! This company is in no fit form to employ anyone further until they sort the management of the company. They have a massive turnover of staff as I was told by an employee of the business and on my first day was advised by multiple staff that this isn't a friendly and professional business as was advertised. However, I always like to take my own opinion so I started the administrator/receptionist role with an open mind. This was a massive mistake. After providing my time and labour to this company, I have not received any pay. Please I strongly advise anyone considering joining this company to not. Grumpy Joes, you need to sort your whole company out no wonder you don't have any people applying for your jobs!

I have been using Grumpy Joes for a year now. They have build all my three cocktail bars with my brand and logo on it! Excellent job and quick service as well. My last purchase was done in 3 working days!!
