East Keal Village Shop

Very rude and mean people..my son and I stopped by on a bike ride and my son went into the shop to ask politely if they could fill our water bottles up...they only filled one bottle and told him this was only a one off....not to do it again...wow it's only water from a tap for a young thirsty boy...

The very rude lady owner has meant I will never use this shop again. Very bad customer/people skills. I think she's in the wrong job!!

I'm afraid I have to echo other people's reviews. The first time I went into the shop, just before Xmas 2021, I needed to post a parcel. The older woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and abrupt. Everyone's entitled to a bad day, but.... A couple of weeks ago, I had to post a letter by recorded delivery - and it was (very clearly) a small letter. The same woman behind the counter pointedly checked the size and then said "2.25. Is that alright?" She was very condescending and bordering on aggressive, which took me aback, as I 'm friendly and very smiley, and am used to people responding to me in the same manner. Next time, I'll use the PO in Spilsby. It's further away, but at least the staff are helpful and polite.

Rude member of staff behind the till it sounds like I'm not the only one who has had this experience, no wonder these little village shops are closing all over and the scoop ice cream is frozen ( ice crystals in the ice cream)
