I would like to send a huge Thank You to Tim and Richard for their donation of potatoes for the Lincolnshire Mencap Valentines Disco...... we are a new committee of paid Mencap workers, working on a voluntary basis to set up regular events to encourage the people we support to form new relationships and have new experiences, which can be difficult for people with learning disabilities. As a new venture and with the fact that we are working on a non profit basis ( to try and keep costs low for the people we support) every donation is so very valuable to us and the potatoes formed the main staple for the meal we offered at the event. The event went really well and everyone who attended had an amazing night.....all enjoyed the meal , everyone was well fed and some even tried toppings that they would not have normally tried so again....a huge huge THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts from the event committee, the people we support and all of Lincolnshire Mencap......and especially for the exceptional generosity showed by Tim and Richard at a difficult time in the farming industry.
