Old Whyly, without a doubt, is the most elegant, comfortable, welcoming B&B Ive ever had the pleasure of staying in. You feel as if youve been invited to visit the home of, lets say, the friend of a close friend, who therefore treats you with special care. The house has an interesting history and is filled with beautiful things belonging to the family. The garden is beautifully kept. Sarah is a fabulous cook, so dont bother to go out to dinner! We were there three nights and had several pleasant meals with other guests around a convivial round table. Choose this place over all the others, if theres room. Youll not regret it. We had a wonderful stay here, very warmly welcomed and looked after by Leah and Sarah. The house has an understated grandeur and is set in beautiful grounds. The homemade lemon cake served on arrival was so delicious, even the old speckled hen wandering about wanted some. A lovely way to start our stay. Although we didnt eat supper here, this is an option and according to the other guests, does not disappoint. Would highly recommend.
