We cant recommend Carlos and his work highly enough! He came up with some great ideas to solve our recycling storage problem and designed a stylish unit to fit perfectly into the small space we had available. His detailing to include oak trims on the unit to complement existing furniture in the kitchen was a master stroke. He redesigned our bedroom cupboards to maximise storage space and talked us through a few different ideas of design and layout for us to choose from. The overall quality of the finish was second to none and we were extremely impressed with Carlos attention to the finest detail along with his friendly, approachable manner not to mention his tidiness throughout the job!

Carlos recently worked in our home and it was a pleasure to see a craftsman at work. He took great care in everything he did including ensuring that any mess was under control and cleared up at the end of the day. His workmanship was first class and he was very accommodating making some slight adjustments along the way at our request. He clearly takes great pride in everything he does and it shows. If you need any carpentry work then we would not hesitate to recommend Carlos - a skilled carpenter at a fair price. We will not hesitate to call him if we ever have any carpentry work needed in the future.

Artifex have just finished a very demanding job for me, making fitted bedroom furniture for all four of our bedrooms. We have an old property which is full of character and hard to work with, we wanted designs and style to fit in with the original features. Carlos suggested the design and drew up fanatastic detailed plans so we could visualise the end result. We couldn't be happier, having used various trades people over the years I am a difficult customer and get stressed having someone in my home making a mess and noise, trusting them with my home and money! Not this time, everything went as Carlos said it would and the workmanship is of the highest quality.
