        Arrived for a birthday meal at 5.30pm. Large group. All squashed in the back room, chairs touching each other, very uncomfortable. Poppadoms arrived at 6pm. It's now 7.40pm and still no main course in sight. In the meantime, waited at the bar for half an hour to be served. Have asked for water jugs for the table three times since 6pm. Still no water. Can't stop staring at the completely dead, shrivelled plant opposite me on the windowsill. No soap in the toilets. If it wasn't a special occasion, I would walk out. 7.55pm, my king prawn Balti has arrived. It's luke warm and below average on taste. Prawns rubbery but sauce very nice. I was hoping the food standard would give me the opportunity to add stars, but no. Rice? Naan? - both just arrived at 8.05pm. Balti now cold. First and last visit I think.
