A delightful little oasis of nature in the urban jungle. Not especially large, but large enough that there are plenty of places where one can sit and forget that one is in London at all. When I was there, a friendly volunteer showed me the slow worms. This is actually a churchyard, albeit closed for new burials since 1974 and a nature reserve since 1977. The church itself is apparently still in use, but not readily accessible. The visitor centre was closed when I went, but I believe that this is mainly for children's activities rather than general visitors.

Not a bad place to visit, slightly smaller paths than I'm used to. I do like the historic church. It was a little untidy the last time I visited. Very calming place though.
