The London Borough Of Newham

What are we actually getting from newham council.The streets are filthy and nearly every corner has a fly tip.The parking is out of control with people taking it upon themselves to black out parking restriction signs so they can park for free whilse others have to pay.never see any parking control on the streets any more .where is our money actually being spent?

If you need any assistance any help any information , guess what you will get NOTHING - big big disappointment every time you get in touch with them. I wish the ratings would start from 0.

Its a shame that the council are money hungry and hire people who are not motivated to help but there to kill time and get paid. What a sad world we live in

2.5 months for the first available appointment for birth registration for my daughter. How disappointing and frustrating! And I get to the first floor of the building on the appointment day and there are 32 desks and only 2 working. The rest of 30 absolutely empty, with no employee in sight. I understand Covid is happening, but most institutions I have dealt with have been back on track with their appointments and services. There is a 3 month deadline to apply for pre/settled status after the birth of a baby and an Id or passport is needed for the application. Because of your delays, I am now supposed to get her a passport in the remaining two weeks. Bravo for messing up people's lives. Update, a year later. We have moved outside London, so I have no idea if Newham council have improved their appointments availability, hopefully they did. Luckily for us, we were able to apply for status for the baby without passport by post with a special form. Even more luckily, we were informed after applying that she was actually born a British citizen due to my and my husband's status :)
