        My daughter has had to have one of itelematix's boxes fitted to her car for insurance purposes. These boxes, it can be argued are actually a hazard to road safety. This is because as the operator of the vehicle you spend far to much time observing the speedometer and insufficient time observing the road ahead and your surroundings. As an advanced motorist myself I now refrain from driving my daughters car. Furthermore it is an extremely dangerous practice to allow speed limits to be enforced this way; a speed limit is not a target and observing a speed limit is not indicative of safe driving practices either.
