So happy I discovered this little caf on Lordship lane, tasty pastries and a lot of options. I was a barista and I can tell the matcha latte was amazing! Very good service too!

Tasteless food. Claustrophobic environment. I went three times there so I really gave them a chance... Their tiramisu and brownies are the two only cake i put in the bin in my entire life. Their juices flavor are not to my taste at all. I gave two stars for the staff who's super nice andthe chocolate cake that was correct.

Absolutely love this place. As a vegan its so hard to find good alternatives for the sweet treats I was used to having growing up. The first place Ive been to that do vegan waffles, and theyre amazing, not only can you get sweet waffles but also savoury and its a plus that its all day breakfast. They do a great selection of vegan pastries, great for when Im in a rush in the morning and the best vegan toasties Ive had. And always my first place to go if Im in need of a coffee!

I bought a pistachio croll and a plain croissant from the Arapina stall at Herne Hill market today. The stall was full of beautiful vegan treats with lots of choice, and the staff were friendly. However I was disappointed with the baked goods I bought: the plain croissant had a gummy and chewy centre, and thick rolls of lamination instead of delicate flakes. It also did not taste freshly baked. The croll pastry was better laminated, but it also tasted "day old"--the pastry was not very crisp and it seemed like the "cream" had been piped in a day before instead of that morning. I have settled on three stars because vegan pastry can be really difficult to make, and the selection, display and staff were lovely. But there is no excuse for stale baked goods. I would consider trying the brick and mortar bakery again to see if the pastries are fresher, but I won't return to another market stall.
