Paul Stearman Photography

Paul is a really special, rare kind of person. He is passionate, thoughtful, and has a sharp, keen eye for capturing a moment. Our string quartet have met Paul at a number of wedding events and always had engaging conversation and gotten along really well. So when we needed some new fun and lively shots, he was the only person we all felt comfortable approaching. After we picked a venue, Paul came armed not only with all of the appropriate lighting but a well thought out strategy and personable approach that really got the best from all of us in the shoot. The edited images we received after only a couple of days are fantastic and have delighted and made us laugh (in a good way) in equal measure. As a semi-pro photographer myself who's taken photos of lots of musical ensembles over the years, I know the difficulties involved and take my hat off to Paul for a job fantastically well done. My Dad recommended Paul when we started planning the wedding and it was one of if not the best decision we made during the whole wedding. from talking about what we wanted from Paul and the ideas he had. too having our pre wedding photos and the magical day itself he was absolutely brilliant the whole time and the qaulity of the photo's were better than anything we could of hoped for. i would reccomend Paul to everyone and anyone for the quality of his work mixed with the fact he is just a really nice guy to work with too

Paul is an incredible wedding photographer. He was so passionate about our location. His ideas were incredible. From the first time we met I think we all felt excited about the experience and photos that would be achieved. Paul was extremely professional and seamlessly linked the photo opportunities with our wedding day. We are extremely proud of our wedding photos. They remind us of our special day. I would highly recommend Paul. He is a talented man with a kind soul. So you can relax on your wedding day knowing you'll get the fabulous photos you look for.

I came across a picture on Facebook this morning, it was a full rainbow taken at Weybourne beach yesterday evening, and I thought it was simply stunning. I am an infection control nurse and I have worked in various roles for the NHS for over 30 years, during the current Covid-19 pandemic the rainbow has become a symbol of hope; I asked Paul if I could purchase a jpg image so that I could put this picture on canvas for my own personal use, after all it was taken on the 72nd birthday of the NHS! Paul had no hesitation in offering me the image, and thanked me for the work I was doing with the NHS, I have never met Paul or know anything about him or his business, but I thought his wonderful gesture was heartfelt and genuine, he just wanted to share what he loves to do for a living with a stranger that equally loves what she does for a living!

I have been friends with Paul for a long time and already knowing his commitment to work, his passion for photography, and his eye for detail, it made him a natural choice for our daughters wedding. We booked him almost 18 months in advance knowing full well that if wed left it a moment longer we would have been vastly disappointed. Pauls customer service leading up to the big day was second to none. Initially, he visited us all at home to discuss our expectations and presented us with the most magnificent examples of his work. He then made it his job to get to know the future bride and groom in order to understand their personalities so all of that could be built into their future photographic package. With regard to their complimentary engagement shoot Paul was so accommodating. He was prepared to travel absolutely anywhere in order to get those perfect locational shots. Closer to the day Paul went on to visit the wedding venue on a number of occasions just to familiarise himself with the layout, and to plan for the shots that he would take on the day. Over and above that he even secured a nearby beauty spot, which in his artistic mind would provide the perfect location for sunset shots; and believe me, he was not wrong. So, on the day Paul was first to arrive at the venue and right up until he took his first shot he was still planning for perfection. He went on to take the most fantastic portfolio of photographs, which covered absolutely every aspect of the wedding. He missed nothing! He even caught the highly emotional moment when I first saw the bride in her wedding dress, a truly touching shot. Pauls photography is not just a collection of photographs, it tells a very moving story, and will provide us with vivid memories of a fantastic event. I honestly believe that no other photographer could have replicated his work. I am so glad that we chose Paul to record our very special day, and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone planning a similar special event.
