I love the course and the variety of tees. It's an 9 hole course with lots of tee options. The fairways were nice and even, not flat but challenging smooth and had a variety of speeds and unwelcoming bunkers. I enjoyed my day immensely and would return when I can.

32 members of our Golf Society played our first match of the season at Dereham on Friday 22nd April. We enjoyed an excellent friendly welcome from the Club Secretary and his staff. The clubhouse is spacious, well laid out and the terrace overlooking the course is a delightful area. The bacon rolls and coffee pre game were great value and all freshly made and hot and the bar prices relatively inexpensive compared to some. The golf course was in very good condition for this early part of the season and the green keepers have obviously worked hard over the winter months. Despite it being only a 9-hole course, the differing tee boxes means only 1 hole plays the same distance. The slope rating for the course will surprise many but is testimony to the challenging nature of some of the holes. The tee position on the Par 5 Hole 14 is really quite intimidating! I would highly recommend a visit to this small but exceptionally friendly golf club. Thank you Dereham for making us so welcome. Excellent Golf Club, nice friendly Club Members, with a Course kept in very good condition even in difficult weather times.
