Right off the bat, this is a review of the kids soft play and climbing area. We didn't use the bowling facility. We arrived at 2pm and just walked in and paid for our child to use the place at the desk, no pre-booking required. The price was 5.50. I asked how long we had, and the guy literally looked at his watch and said to about 4:30 or 5. So it appears we just got the rest of the day. I was expecting a few hours, or slots of time, but it seems you just get to go in and stay? The apparatus is good, with plenty of multi level walkways, easy to climb steps, and no falling hazards or "holes" to lower levels. I know this because I went in and took a full tour with my son. Purely for research purposes of course. There is easy viewing access to 90% of the play area from the ground. At the front there is a "toddler only" area called off for kids up to 4 years old to play safely. There are plenty of tables and chairs Infront of the climbing area. There is a full menu of hot and cold food, and coffee is available, although it is not included in the printed menu, so just ask at the counter when you order. All of our orders were brought to the table by very friendly staff. The food was decent and filled a hole. There is a vending machine with cross and chocolate. Every item is a pound. Toilets are located right in the play area. My son had a great time and we ended up staying for 4 hours. Parking is quite spacious, and I am sure if you really had to you could park in the leisure centre or Morrisons and walk.

Nice place with jolly staff. I'm surprised at how empty the place was for a Saturday night, perhaps bowling isn't popular in Dereham.
