The moment you enter the gates the peace and tranquility begins. Everything about this place we simply could not fault. The location...Gayles is wonderfully located on the outskirts of Eastbourne and offers some spectacular views as some of the pictures show. The Yoga & Meditation Studio...The moment you go through the doors you can sense peace and it has such a magical feel about it. The accommodation...There are various ways to do this...Camp, in shared dorms or a couple of rooms for couples. I camped and although the tent was a little small for my height, hearing the bird songs in the morning were a delight. But having a shower and the toilet in a converted horse trailer was awesome. The food...Bearing in mind, a majority of the food is grown here. Organically and so seasonally. Derry & his team served delicious food every day. Being vegan is no issue, as well as gluten free options. Both Derry & Ros are a wonderful couple that have developed such a wonderful retreat and look forward to visiting again soon

Gayles Retreats hosted a recent yoga retreat run by Catherine Annis and as usual provided excellent hospitality! Roz and Derry always go the extra mile in making you feel comfortable and at home. The accommodation is fabulous, the home cooking veggie/vegan food is wonderful healthy and generous and the location stunning. All efforts were made to make our small group be safe with social distancing and covid precautions strenuously in place. Such a joy to be there again. Thankyou
