This block management company is ruled by Robert Clubb, who believes he has a divine right to do just as he likes with your money. I had a leak from my flat to the flat below six months ago over the Christmas break. He could not immediately get one of the named contractors out but the one who couldn't come, called their boss who organized an immediate alternative to go. Robert Clubb did not leave a contact number to inform him that a contractor was going. The contractor appointed by my agent fixed the problem, told the occupants of the flat downstairs and left. Mr Clubb turns up later at my property with a locksmith and plumber, but of course they found the leak fixed. Instead of dealing with this in a professional manner and accepting any part of blame, Mr Clubb proceeded to blame everyone else and insisted the bill is paid. I had to repair the damage to my flat which was claimed on the block insurance and Mr Clubb has retained the reimbursement to me in his own bank account. He has refused to send the money to me and no amount of fairly strong persuasion has changed his mind. He is insistent that I also pay for the damage to the downstairs flat which is estimated at a four figure sum and will not claim for this damage on the same block policy. He is an arrogant man who runs his business in a cavalier way and I would not recommend him in any way. He is not the only management company I deal with and I have never come across such a shambling company in all the years I have had property.

Dunwell PMC took over as the management company for our small development of 28 properties (previously managed via a large estate agents) about three years ago. The difference was immediately noticeable and was a huge improvement in respect of communication with the directors, prompt responses to administrative queries, clarity of our financial situation and the management thereof - and all delivered in a friendly and professional manner. The directors have always received sound advice and are always encouraged to choose local traders wherever possible, but offered good alternatives if local businesses are not available. Mr Clubb will make personal visits to our development and his attention to detail is a complete contrast to our previous management company. Accounts are prepared promptly and clearly and maintenance issues are dealt with in a similarly prompt and efficient manner. Overall, the service delivered from Dunwell PMC has been very much to our satisfaction and we are very pleased to have engaged their services.
