A really friendly place. Better value than other fish and chip shops in the area and far better quality! Definitely uses quality potatoes and decent sized fish. Wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommended to others. Looking forward to my next visit!

This lovely chippy isn't very local to me, almost 2 hours away, but i would definitely go again. We called in on our way home from a day in Scarborough and i'm so glad we did. The staff were so nice and friendly and the food was lovely. I ordered a spam fritter with my chips and was given two because the batter came off one side of the first one, which i wouldn't have minded at all but the owner kindly gave me both. We had to wait just a little while because our food was made to order and it was very busy but it didn't take long and it was definitely worth the wait. You can always tell a good chippy when people are queuing out of the door. Even though it's nearly 2 hours drive we will definitely be back.

Good portion sizes, perfectly cooked fluffy, crispy chips - quick and good service!
