I visited my son at Kemp Porter. The building is new, modern and nas useful facilities like common and games rooms, silent study rooms, group work rooms or meditation rooms. Double rooms with en suite bathrooms are warm and cosy, quite spacious, designed to have some privacy while studying. Kitchens are modern and very spacious with great views on upper floors. The building has 30 floors and fast lifs. There are little courtyards outside and a garage for bikes. It has no gym, but it's available nearby, in another Imperial halls of residence Laundry room is well equipped but the electronic payment system is far from perfect and quite expensive. In close vicinity there are stops (Tesco, Sainsbury's), bus stops and a tube station (North Acton). It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Imperial campus in central London.
