        Just had the mixed grill for lunch, good job I was hungry . Really filling meat fest and good value for money. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

        Sometimes in life you need a good pub, serving good beer a screen to watch the football good grub and the added benefit of been dog friendly. The Angel ticks everyone of these boxes. It was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Superb little place.

        Absolutely brilliant, no complaints. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming, aged 108 or 8, nothing is too much trouble. The Angel and my dear friends who manage and run the place get better, like good wine, as time passes. No words but brilliant and perfect.
