I wanted to replace my well worn Barbour jacket and found a great deal online. I phoned the shop to confirm the sizing and ordered online at 3pm The jacket was delivered the following day at 2pm Fabulous service and a very competitive price Absolutely delighted and can recommend this retailer without question.

Found Charles Hobson on Google selling Loake shoes on sale, decided to give him a try. Whilst on the site i also ordered some Eton shirts (love Eton shirts, i have dozens of them). Like many I gained a kg or two during pandemic, so found i was in between sizes on the Eton shirts, sadly they had to be returned. Received a curt email from Charles Hobson on receipt of the shirts lambasting me on the condition they were returned and suggesting that they were no longer saleable. Im perplexed, i literally tried the shirts on and put them straight back in the packaging. Did you expect me to put the pins, shirt board and neck strip back in, then perfectly fold them into the packaging exactly as they arrived from the factory? Would you expect a customer to do that after trying on a shirt in your store? I suspect not. Shocking way to talk to a customer. First and last time i use them. In the meantime, i will revert to buying my shirts directly from Eton (or Harrods, Selfridges, Fenwick, House of Fraser, Flannels or any of the dozens of other options selling the brand).
