Had memory problems due to mental health so I missed a few appointments which resulted in me being discharged after i was told not to worry about the missed appointments as poor memory is very common with mental illness I then got a phone call off my carecoordinator who confirmed im getting discharged because of this. I thought this was fair enough if I'm honest. I came to merrick house with extremely bad health anxiety for my care coordinator to then tell me I should go to the GP and get my memory's tested as she thinks its extremely concerning how bad my memory is To then be told I am a adult and need to start remembering my appointments. Totally understandable but the memory loss is part of my mental health according to the psychologist.. bit conflicting information. Not to mention I was told I would be referred for a autism test.. then it was a bipolar test the week later and when confronting them non of them seemed to be any of the wiser that this conversation had taken place and then said they think I have EUPD which I did not find out till they had discharged me. And they are telling me my memory is bad... JOKE

This service is terrible. I had no support from them or any sort of plan for over a year, no medication review, nothing. Then I find out that I had been discharged because I turned down a coping skills group that hits the school run. I am the only one able to pick my son up from school and I apparently missed appointments but the woman I was meant to see was off sick. They said it goes down as a did not attend. I had an appointment two weeks a go to see if they would bring me back into their service and I've still not heard anything.
