Brompton On Swale Caravan Park

This is a large site with the town Richmond just a few miles away it covers touring and statics Lee the manger is helpful and will help in settling in the site sits next to a large river which has some good trout . It is a beautiful site with water and electric hook up with are quite regular visitors and can't ask for anything better.

Love this site close to river not far drive to Richmond and Catterick great for the kids especially in summer

Good location 1.5 miles outside Richmond on the River Swale. Enjoyable riverside walk into Richmond arriving at old Station which is a nice coffee stop. Site had level pitches with gravel base. Staff were pleasant. My only criticisms were that the site lacked some TLC and modernisation. Drains at water points were blocked and swimming with water, toilets and showers were very dated as were pot wash sinks and electric tripped regularly over 2 nights when heating was required. Such a pity as with some investment and regular maintenance this could be a superb site.
