        Delightful cottage, well fitted, furnished and decorated, clean and in good repair, quiet, not far from York, and a short drive from a big out-of-town shopping complex. Not ideally situated for local walks, as the road is busy and the river Foss path can be very muddy (but is a traffic-free walking route to York). Difficult to find in the dark (satnat will find Moor Lane, but not the right gate off Moor Lane).
