The Moorings Residential Care Home

I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. My Dad was a resident here before he passed away in December and we were so pleased with the care he received. When we visited, the staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. We always felt as if we were among people who cared and there is such a lovely atmosphere at the home. Personally, we felt that the fees were very reasonable when making similar comparisons with other homes. There were always a lot of staff around, many of whom had been there a long time, the food reflected the needs of the residents and we felt cared for as well when we visited. A family run home with an excellent manager, Danni, a real gem of a place. Heartfelt thanks from our family.

Very good card for my nan who is I'll with memory problems although residents need to be monitored much more closely at all times good and drinks and meals could be improved for higher quality foods and drinks not a good idea to have a smoking she's outside my bans room means lack of privacy whilst she's using the bathroom very good carers activities co ordinates events and entertainments and activities although the cleanliness and tidiness of her room and dining area needs to be improved as the fees are very high
