Dreadful experience with the most miserable and unhelpful cashier I have ever experienced. This morning I queued with a prescription sent by my consultant with instructions to collect before my appointment today. She refused my medicine because it was on a green slip and not grey. I explained I needed it for an appointment today No apology, no explanation on what to do, just told me she wouldnt accept it and I needed another one. I left the pharmacy with no idea what I was supposed to do so attended my appointment without my medication. No doctor was available to prescribe my medication so I was sent to the pregnancy clinic to find a doctor. As a 34 year old woman undergoing a hysterectomy, I was absolutely devastated to be sent to a pregnancy clinic all because boots wouldnt accept my prescription for being on the wrong coloured paper! No service with a smile here, not even a hello, how can I help I was met by a miserable, formidable woman who offered absolutely no empathy or kindness and truly should not be working in a hospital!

Not happy as was told by the hospital, you have to go to this particular pharmacy as the prescription is only valid here. Half an hour wait, to collect, then told did not have one is stock and would need to be ordered. They asked if I would like to collect again from here or at a local Boots, that seemed the sensible choice as I don't live local to the hospital. Appointment was sat and Tue still no message or call, went to my local Boots. Who where also not interested, their comment was nothing to do with us, you need to speak to the Boots at the hospital. Called them after 3 tries over an hour, finally answered! Was then told that the medication was only ordered yesterday (Mon) due to the weekend, there was no mention of this at the time I was there, and asked when it would be available to me, was told, it should arrive tomorrow and then will be sent on to my local Boots, and should be available to collect Fri or Sat!! So a week after the original med was perceived, so if this was urgent medication, I would still be waiting a week!! This medication was to be taken in conjunction with three others, so should I've been taking the others?? Very disappointed with the service and the hospital for forcing patients to go to one particular pharmacy.

The worst pharmacy let alone the worst in hospital pharmacy. No clear queue for shopping, dropping off a prescription or collecting medication. Min 1 hour waiting time to collect medication. They never answer the phone so dont bother trying to call. I live 2 hours away and cant get through, they were supposed to call me last week to tell me its ready and they havent so Im sat here with no medication and will have to make the 2 hour trip just to find out.
