MA&Y

Having started out as a complete beginner in Krav Maga, I have been attending Krav Maga classes at MA&Y for about 4 months and have greatly enjoyed each class so far. Julian is a great and supportive instructor who creates a welcoming yet challenging environment in every class for people of all abilities. Since I started classes I have noticed a definite improvement in my physical abilities and self-esteem. There is lots on offer with regards to Krav, including a beginners' course, regular classes and even special classes with guest instructors. I would absolutely recommend Krav Maga at MA&Y for anyone looking to learn martial arts, get more physically active and become more confident! I look forward to attending more classes and eventually achieving Practitioner 1! Edit: Since I wrote this review I have now achieved P1!

I could not recommend MA&Y enough! I have been training Krav Maga here for nearly 4 months now and Julian and Gaia have been so welcoming. They are amazingly equipped to accommodate new starters, the sessions are very well structured and it's a great fun and safe environment to practice. They offer trial sessions so you can see if it's for you before committing, what's not to love!

I have been a member of MA&Y for almost two years. I have practised Choi Kwan Do with Mr Johnson and then Ms Shoulders, and now I am practising BJJ with Roberto Almeida. The team is engaging, skilled, and very professional. I always look forward to my BJJ classes. The people in the gym are friendly, making the atmosphere in this gym very friendly. My wife and daughter (11 years) are also members and do Yoga with Gaia and her Yoga team. I highly recommend MA&Y.

Attending classes with my young daughter has been thoroughly enjoyable. A great way to spend quality time together, whilst learning a new skill, as well as developing our fitness and confidence. Being complete novices, we did not know what to expect but Miss Shoulders, Mr Gaffney and Mr Johnson could not be more welcoming or professional. Highly recommended!
