07-08-2021 After the will we/wont we of covid we had the day we dreamt of at Browning Bros-Chalkney Water Meadows! The venue was perfect for our festival/laid back theme & we were able to add our own personal touches & bursts of colour to anywhere and everywhere! We opted for the stretch tent cover as the weather wasn't looking great, but after some initial drizzle the sun shone for the rest of the evening meaning all guests could enjoy all areas of the venue. After booking around 4 years in advance the venue had added some great touches in better toilets, a converted bar & decking in front of the tipi - all adding to smooth running on the day! Becky & Nat were always on hand to give advice & answers numerous questions we had- all staff are lovely, helpful + the perfect vibe for the venue! We also used the beautiful log cabin, Friday-bride/bridesmaids using the hot tub, Saturday our parents & sunday - just the two of us which was the perfect end to the weekend. Saturday night around 20 bell tents were filled with closest friends staying up till sunrise after the rest of the wedding had gone home- a lovely touch when you dont want the night to end! I can go on but nearly 2 years later i still think about the day often & hope to go back in 10 years to do it all again! Thank you for everything Brownings! (Pictures @graceelizphoto)

We got married at Chalkney Water Meadows & it was amazing! Having our wedding here gave us the freedom to have exactly what we wanted down to every detail but without the full stress of organising everything alone! The whole team at Browning Bros were amazing every step of the way & they made it our dream day! The venue is stunning & we got married on the edge of the lake. The log cabins are also beautiful & have hot tubs outside overlooking a lake too. We stayed here whilst our guests could glamp onsite. This was great as having the venue for the whole weekend meant we could continue the celebrations the following day! The venue is perfect for those wanting something unique & beautiful without the formal stuffiness we found in many places. We could put our own mark on it & everyone said how incredible the day was, especially the venue. Id recommend the Browning Bros to anyone - the team pulled out all the stops & I cant recommend them highly enough!
