Russ, the engineer turned up and again, was really helpful and explained everything he was doing. He changed an electrode and warned us that he didnt have the exact one for our boiler with him but that it should work.
Unfortunately, we discovered that there was no hot water or heating on a Friday night at 9pm. I messaged Jodie who replied straight away saying that Russ was away on a course for a few days, but she gave us some tips and we managed to restart it.
As soon as Russ came back from his course he came round to change the electrode, free of charge.
So friendly, amazing service and feel very lucky to have found them through a random Google! Thank you Russ and Jodie.
