        Visited course for the first time, excellent on line tee time reservation system, warm welcome from all the staff, food was good. The course had some attractive and memorable holes, greens, fairways and aprons were in great nick for early March. Tee Boxes need some tidying up, and I thought some of the areas off fairways were scruffy, and lots of the bunkers were GUR. Looking forward to returning for a game in the summer.

        Played in my first Seniors match away to Colne Valley today. Great course. Warm welcome and very friendly members. Give it a go. I'll definitely be back for more.

        Having set out to play every course in Essex and achieved eighty odd so far , this is in the top three in my opinion . So if you are a keen golfer , this is a must . The views and quality on offer is evident as soon as you arrive . The club house facilities and food are also top bracket . I thoroughly recommend you try
