        We arrived at the OYO Shilton Hotel after a 3 hour journey only to find that is was closed. We went to front entrance to find it locked. We phoned the numbers that were on the main doors. The first number we tried was no answer, we then phoned the mobile number only to be told that the hotel had closed a week ago due to non payment from booking .com, so they were forced to close. We are out of pocket big time as we had find alternative accommodation and as being a bank holiday we had to pay premium price's. We had an email from OYO Shilton saying we hope you enjoy your stay. Then today we received an email saying that we were a no show....duh. we definitely won't be using booking. Com again. We were told that booking .com hadn't paid them for 3 month's. This a complete and utter shambles..

        Great family run place. We stayed here for the largest female bike meet in Hinkley. Bikes were made safe for us overnight. Good value drinks and a pool table. Room was clean and fresh. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area
