Unfortunately the lady that owns / runs this business has got a bit of a temper, downstairs there is a bakery/ cafe-bar and my grandchildren have been shouted at for being too noisy!! Ive heard in the village from others with children and have had the same treatment.. as for her business probably be at 2 star venue according to ladies that have used this establishment a no no from me

The lady who runs this place came down and shouted at diners in the caffe below calling one bloke a bad parent because his children were slightly louder than the average adult.

Star Anise is great. I'm uncomfortable with strangers but Donna was just lovely. She made me feel welcome and relaxed within minutes. I had an eyelash tint and perm and quite frankly I'm amazed. My eyes look brighter and more open than ever before. I've had this done before at another salon and they've never looked this good. The Salon is nicely decorated, clean and Donna did a temperature check as I entered. I felt very safe as Donna was wearing a mask and a visor. Donna herself seemed lovely, really friendly and I honestly can't wait for my next appointment in December.
