The sales process was smooth and Billy Budd was attentive. However, there was then a delay in installing the conservatory and finishing the installation. The sub-contractor builders that they used, Edd Hancock of Hancock Home Improvements Ltd prioritised other jobs and he sub-contracted to a plumber who rushed the job, so we had to fix the resulting problem ourselves. The whole installation took two months instead of 2 to 3 weeks and the customer service from Elglaze after sales support was extremely poor. They either ignore emails or try and pass the issue onto their sub-contractors. Overall, an unhappy customer who was severely disrupted by the poor management of the project and then consistently ignored by Eglaze. In reply to Elglaze: I paid the sub-contractor Dave separately to repair our shower sealant. Whilst this was partly the cause of the subsequent leakage, it was exacerbated by the breaking up of concrete under the old conservatory, fixed to our kitchen wall. The water leakage occurred in the days after the works which I documented by photos and emails. Dave was very pleasant, as was the electrician who carried out work separately for us and was also paid. I clarified by email before I signed the contract and before the works began that the slabs would be relaid in the immediate vicinity and Billy confirmed the immediate vicinity would be made good in direct reply to my email. There was no issue with our radiator valves as claimed by the plumber. The flush through of our radiators had been botched (rushed) after the correct size of radiator was belatedly sourced and fitted (delaying the completion of the work further) and then the plumber tried to charge us for extra work. We bled the radiators ourselves with the advice of our local plumber and fixed the issue so no valves were replaced at all. I had to communicate with the builder out of hours sometimes as he was busy working on other projects (instead of this project) and did not always reply for days on end. I was also getting either no reply from Elglaze or their replies by email or telephone suggested that I contact the builder to resolve the issues. Also, the concrete floor dried within days and wooden flooring was laid within a week, not 2-3 weeks as suggested. The significant delay followed this, and by the builders own admission, was as a result of the dispute with the laying of some slabs in the immediate vicinity. Perhaps you lost many of my emails which were sent over the months to three of your colleagues at Eglaze due to annual leave, absences etc? I have a full written record showing that many of my emails were ignored, particularly towards the end of this project which was initially delayed and then took 2 months to complete. Your reply is disappointing after the upset caused by poor customer service and long delays. I would not use your company again.

Excellent quality products with high level of safety and security features, excellent value for money. No pressure sales as they don't use these tactics unlike some of the major companies, and you only pay a small deposit, the remainder when it's all completed. Some companies take it all before they start then they have you over a barrel. Not Elglaze , we did our due diligence and found an excellent family operated business with high work ethics and company satisfaction no wonder they are in high demand. Fitting team are hard workers.

Would not use elglaze again. I've been waiting nearly 3 years for a replacement blown door glazing unit. Reported in late 2019, and have been fobbed off ever since. Warranty not worth the paper it's written on.

We've had a number of the products from Elglaze over the years. All of which we've been happy with. This weekend the lock failed on our front door and despite it being some years since it was fitted they've immediately set to and called a locksmith. Perhaps it shouldn't have failed, but these things happen. What is beyond reproach is the aftercare.
