I mustve done about 12k here over the last few months. Came on here to review after a terrible experience just now and had a wry grin that the first few reviews are about poor staff attitudeabsolutely bang on!!! Tried to give me soaking wet materials on a click and collect. Left me roasting for a replacement with the fella dealing with me wandering around the store having a laugh. Frustration was I could see replacement stuff on the shelves and said Id take it myself - not allowed as click n collect. I started getting the hump and eventually a team effort of three got me my replacement pack - off I went with a sarcastic dont mention it shouted at me by the stroppy young girl at the till. I snapped back yeah thanks for the apology with the response being repeated shouts of dont mention it and all a bit of a laugh from the others. Asked for the Manager - left roasting again. The staff here are msinly bits of kids with their street speak and poor attitude - only one worth a carrot is an Irish lady who cannot be more helpful to you plus a tall young black lad who seems to hold the ship together. Ive probably got another 29k to go on my local project.Screwfix or Lawsons will see all if that now

AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE CROOKS. I GOT A PARKING FINE HERE. ,ITS DISGUSTING THAT YOU CANNOT GO TO A DIY STORE TO BROWSE FLOORING & PAINT WITHOUT BEING CAR JACKED FOR CASH. THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS WELL DONE I WILL BE BRINGING MY PURCHASES BACK TO PAY THE FINE. I WILL NOT PURCHASING MY FLOORING HERE OR ANY OTHER ITEMS EVER..THERE ARE OTHER STORES I CAN GET TILES FROM. I USE TO LIKE WICKES, BUT THIS HAS LEFT A BAD TASTE

turned up for my kitchen appointment this morning but person who was seeing me was late to work and would be 20 minutes late. no one bothered to call me. not offered a drink so went to ask if i could get a warm drink whilst waiting in the cold and told by one of the staff members no its only for customers. dont worry i wont be a customer!
