Ealing Post Office

One hour at the queue, only to be told they don't do the service. 5 counters, one open. Not fit for purpose.

Everything about this post office is about as bad as it possibly could be. LONG queues. No queue filtering for counter/self service. Self service machines often unmanned or simply turned off. Absolutely never, ever sufficient staff working. And this in an age where high street banks are closing branches and encouraging us to "pop into your local post office to do your everyday banking" - what a sick joke! Please, either invest in this branch or close it. The current situation is cruel to the customers and unfair to the undoubtedly stressed and overworked staff.

If you have plans for the day, cancel them, youll be in a queue for at least an hour. One staff member (behind the desk) is very good at her job, however, to only have ONE person to run the entire office is farcical. Help her out please. Nobody on self service, which is always closed anyway. Needs to be totally overhauled and changed by upper management.
