Accommodation not as promised as we and many others were not in the nice villa but put in a run down grubby out building. .. poor quality food and drink with little choice... no cleaning ... poor service... stranded from beach or village unless transport provided...However the dance clubs were marvellous and I will return but make my own way next time.... some guests liked it but it's just not for me

I booked a 10-day Bachata holiday to the Dominican Republic with Latin Tours Limited. From the first contact, my experience with this company was very positive. The clients were given different payment options, sent polite reminders and everything was taken care for. There was a little confusion about hand luggage allowance but it was due to Thompson's (who was used for the charter flight) misinformation. Our destination was 4 hours from the airport and it was slightly daunting for me. It was my first group holiday and I didnt know anybody but already started bonding during that long ride. Well, the rum might have helped too. By the end of the holiday it was very clear why the organiser chose that remote place. We had white sand beaches for ourselves with possibilities to paddle board, windsurf and snorkel. I loved our little villas with balconies where we had breakfast, or relaxed in the rocking chairs. The town felt so safe that after dancing in the club I walked back alone at 2 am. I would never dare to do it in England. We were truly experiencing the local culture, which you dont see when staying in a resort. As it was a dance holiday I think we really danced for every penny and more. We had classes on the beach in the mornings, and in the studio in the evenings. The standard of teachers was higher than one could ask for, and they really catered for everyones needs. We also had two trips included in the package, and they were both amazing. Who wouldnt like a horse ride over the mountains with breath-taking views, followed by a swim under a waterfall? Or a boat trip to the national park through mangroves, buying shrimps from fishermen in the middle of the ocean to be freshly grilled, and then sunbathing and swimming on a semi-private island? The whole holiday had a family feel to it. The organiser went out of his way to please everyone, from knocking at the door to wake you up in the morning to grilling for the whole group. He even stepped up and helped the waiters in the restaurant when they just couldnt cope with so many of us. One thing I could complain about is that the holiday came to an end too soon but they have already fixed it, as next year, it will be a day longer but for the same price. Overall, I was very pleased with my first experience with Latin Tours Limited, and am definitely considering to use their service again.

Had a fabulous time in Miami topped off by a Bahamas cruise with the Latin Tours team. This holiday was a bit of everything salsa, sun, sea, sand and sightseeing. Flights and visas were included in this particular trip so it was easy to book and just turn up at the airport with luggage and passport and let Latin Tours worry about the rest!

Been on both the Malaga and Miami trips, was still buzzing for a week after Malaga! The negstives: some organisational issues , some things in need of better planning and thought for the future. The positives: 2 great holidays with very different experiences, doesn't matter if you are still a salsa novice or years of experience, i think most if not all were singletons on both trips so if you are if you are concerned about not knowing anyone or not having anyone to go with, don't worry about that you will soon have a whole load of new friends. Whilst you can make the holiday to how you want it, seriously, if you want a quiet laid back holiday go book something else, these holidays are for enjoying to the full with late night into the early hours salsa bars and nightclubs with classes in the day if you can manage them or want them.
