Disgusting attitude of the staff. I had 5 bags of my late father in law's clothes ( who passed away this week ) and I turned up at the pilgrims shop in Dymchurch a couple of minutes after they shut , but 3 women were still in there clearing up..I knocked and asked if they would like them and take my bags in, obviously to sort on Monday, after being ignored I knocked again, when a lady opened the door, she asked me if I paid tax for " gift aid" when I said I was retired, she said no thank you , and shut the door ...FIVE bags of good quality , freshly washed, ironed and folded neatly, with some even brand new still in the wrapping... I can't believe they could act like this ,...but I suppose what is their loss, it is another charity's gain...... But it still didn't take away the fact that they were so rude... To be fair to them, when I complained to the head office , a gentleman was really angry at what had happened, and couldn't apologise enough..
