Part of a great circular walk commencing at Weaverham swing bridge on the A49. Follow the river Weaver along the Weaver Way. Pass by the locks and pick up the bridleway to a meadow. Exit the meadow and follow the road around to a bridge over a canal. Descend down to the canal, turning RIGHT. Follow the canal back to the A49 where you can you can get a drink in the tea rooms or the pub.
