Vanessa was recommended to us for our wedding by a good friend. I am not surprised he did and also really happy we rang her!! In the run up to the wedding she was available to talk and plan when we needed, via phone email or Skype. She has a great attention to detail, researched all the information about the venue and arrived early on the day to recce the location and see where the great shots were. Our wedding was in the Great Barn (Ruislip), an amazing venue, but dark in some areas and with tricky light for photos. Despite the lighting challenges, before and during the wedding ceremony Vanessa took some great shots, the tender and funny moments, the serious and silly! She has a great eye for detail and knows what will look good in a wedding album! Throughout, she was also very accommodating and asked if we had any particular wishes as the day progressed. She caught so many natural moments with our friends and family which we are really happy with. She has a friendly, cheerful and calm manner and we all felt relaxed and at ease and this made the photos all the better. There were a lot of children at our wedding and Vanessa captured their energy and fun and the occasional cheeky one! One of the children told me in the evening; 'I really like the photograph lady, I can't wait to see my picture.' Vanessa also took some great shots of the building, the food, the wrapped up cutlery with wheat (which we painstakingly wrapped the day before) and all the extra details that we were so happy to see in the photos and had not expected. We jetted off for our honeymoon the next day and Vanessa had sent us our first batch of photos 3 days later. It is a pleasure to recommend her to anyone on the photographer search! Wonderful, skilled photographer who really isn't afraid to get the right shot.I had the pleasure of seeing Vanessa work at a Wedding recently in Surrey, UK. Her unobtrusive style of capturing the right moment coupled with some serious cameras has left me with some wonderful photos I'll cherish, thanks again Vanessa!
