I do not often leave reviews but have made an exception in this case. I had to travel to Durham and needed a taxi from the station and a quick online search took me to Highgate Taxis. I booked the pick up the day before and Will who handled the request responded by email immediately with the booking confirmed, the name of the driver, John, the make of vehicle, the plate number, and exact details of where John would be waiting for me. When I got off the train John was already there and greeted me straightaway and was very welcoming. The vehicle was immaculate and John was a perfect driver and excellent company. In all my years of using taxis and cabs, whether for business or pleasure, I have NEVER enjoyed such an outstanding level of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail. If I could give Will, John, and Highgate Taxis a greater score than 10 out of 10 I would do so without hesitation. I unreservedly recommend them to anyone visiting Durham who needs a taxi.
