I bought a packet of Rennies for 5.26. When I took it home my wife said she could not take them because they contained sugar. Leak refused to refund my money and had no replacement non-sugar product. They claimed it was company policy not to accept returned medicines because they couldn't guaranteed how they had been stored. I told them I'd only bought the product 30 minutes previously. Rennies is not a prescription medicine, and a store like Sainsbury or Superdrug would accept a return under the circumstances. It's good for them because that shop never has to make a refund, presumably on a bottle of shampoo as well. But NOT good for the customer and her rights In my opinion Leak are trying to mimic Boots - these shops have a bad reputation for ripping off customers. I've removed Leak as the place to receive my doctors prescription
