Walkers Opticians

Myself and my children (Gracie, Ellie and Olivia) have been attending for the last 4 years. Everyone makes us feel welcome. As everyone in the Durham branch will know we have attended more than planned due to having 3 children who wear glasses and a few mishaps resulting in needing replacements. We even had our dog eat a pair of glasses (when she was a puppy). The shame and embarrassment! Karen has been not just looked after my eyes but also been a listening ear. Thank you so much for all being so welcoming.

I've been a patient at Walkers (the Crook branch) for about 18 months after moving to the area. My needs here include contact lenses and various kinds of glasses, full sight tests, and contact lens checks. Everything has been carried out in a friendly, caring, and professional manner by all the of staff that I've met. Recommended!

I have been visiting Walkers Opticians' Durham location for almost two years now, where they have helped me on numerous occasions with small issues with my glasses - always with kindness, efficiency and care. Recently I have undergone an eye exam with them to check my prescription. As I am sight impaired and eye exams are extremely taxing and inconvenient for me, the team at Walkers has kindly suggested that I will split the exam to several appointments. It has taken me three times (!!!) until we've reached a resolution, and I have always been treated with care. Even after ordering my new prescription, the team has continued to help me and have agreed to modify one of my prescription after a few weeks. I can't praise the practice and the people in the Durham location enough. Thank you so much for your help! I feel that I have found my opticians in Durham.
