The Tax Faculty LLP

At the first phone call I was very impressed. Then, despite leaving three messages, I have not had any replies. Very disappointing. Following this review, the Tax Faculty contacted me and passed me over to a Tax advisor. I found them both to be very helpful and pleasant. However, due to the unfair taxation on Inheritance tax and other taxes, on landlords in particular, they were limited as to what advice they could give.

I felt totally at ease after contacting Charles Tateson regarding a CGT matter. Not being familiar with tax matters, it was great to have someone with Charles's HMRC background handling matters. Nothing was too much trouble for Charles and the whole transaction went very smoothly, with Charles handling any wrinkles or challenges that arose.

The Tax Faculty is a top class one stop shop for anybody with tax problems or queries of any type. Charlie is knowledgeable and personable and takes his time to properly understand the problem before working hard to ensure the best possible solution.

Delighted with the overall service and result Charles delivered! We were hit with a capital gains request on a previous property that we had owned but sold quickly due to personal / work related circumstances. We had at the time of buying and selling the property taken advice from another accountant firm. After feeling no confidence in the direction suggested we discussed our concerns with the Tax Faculty, and it became apparent that the HMRC knowledge as well as level of experience would not only reduce the complexity of the situation but also take ownership of our case and deliver a positive financial result. I would highly recommend!
