Really disappointing experience and dragging on far to long. Fire was installed on 23rd April and Ive been chasing for weeks for them to come and finish the job. When you spend the sort of money we did you expect a much better service than we are getting. We were even without a TV in the front room for three weeks waiting for them to come back and fit it, which I had to chase up to get done. Finally I was told on Monday just gone (when I again chased up) that the marble was in the shop (why they didnt bother to get in touch to tell me this and arrange fitting I dont know) I was told by Dan they would let me know when they could come out after he checked the diary the next day. By 16:54pm on the Next day I hadnt heard anything so I got in touch to ask what was happening and Dan said they were coming today the 4th June! to fit the marble hearth and finish the job so I took the day off work and waited. I have been trying to get an answer on what time they were due all week and Texted a number of times and also called shop to find out when they would arrive. Dan took three days to reply then said it was his day off when he did get back to me and The fitter would ring me. I replied asking for confirmation they were still coming but he didnt reply. I waited and they didnt arrive but I received a call and I was eventually told they were stuck on another job and couldnt come. Being self employed I Lost a days pay by waiting in for nothing and if I hadnt called I dont think they would have bothered telling me they were not coming so I still havent got my fire surround completed. I will now have to lose another days pay to take time off again to wait to get the job finished when they actually get in touch. It is such a shame they have behaved this way as the fire was lovely but we have now waited over 6 weeks since they started the job and we still cant enjoy the finished thing, it has really took the shine of our purchase. Please sort this out Dan and get the job finished without me having to keep chasing up.
