        I was shocked and touched today when I answered my door to a smiling representative from Age Uk bringing me a gift of a Christmas Hamper and a lovely warn throw .It was very unexpected and my husband and I are overwhelmed at this generosity . We would like to say a big thank you to Age Uk for this and everything they have done for us THANK YOU AGE UK YOU ARE WONDERFUL . Margaret and David Denning

        Age UK were very helpful to my dad, especially with a visit to his home to complete an application for a carer allowance. I've since donated quite a lot of household goods to their Durham 'superstore' which is a very easy drop off. They also offer a collection service for bulky furniture, for a nominal fee to contribute to their fuel costs.
