I ordered Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn. A small potato, wilted salad leaves and there was more mayo than tuna. The worst meal I've had from here The cup of tea was ok

The worker Dan, about 6 foot tall and quite a big lad, looked about 18, he was very rude and told me and my wife to eat somewhere else and then spat in my coffee

Sainsbury's cafes used to be so good - they used to do items like bacon sandwiches with loads of bacon on big slices of white doorstop bread. Then for some reason it all changed a few years back and has got progressively worse since then. I went in for some lunch on a Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago - at 1.30pm on a SATURDAY there were only 2 other tables taken so it goes to show the reputation for this cafe is well known. Despite this there were quite a number of tables with dirty cups and plates where they hadn't been cleaned away. This seems to be the case every time I come to this cafe. I ordered a coffee (was decent as served to me immediately) and some food which took an age to arrive, bearing in mind they weren't busy, and was lukewarm. I left half of it. Last Saturday I tried M&S cafe in the Arnison retail park instead, and the place was completely full. Maybe just go for a coffee if you want a break from supermarket shopping, but avoid the food menu, I've given it too many chances and nothing changes.
