Forty Winks Guest House & Residence

Host greeted us on arrival, so polite and helpful. Room was exceptional, huge with lovely high ceiling, decor was stunning, roll top bath with a view of the cathedral is a huge wow factor. Comfy big bed, toiletries and tea facilities all lovely. Description and pictures on website are spot on, honestly the most beautiful hotel and we can't wait to stay again. Excellent breakfast and good variety, we had the full English and every ingredient was of such high quality, delicious. Can't rate 40winks high enough

We stayed in 40Winks over the Easter weekend to celebrate my best friends birthday and we couldnt have been happier with our experience! The Gala room was gorgeous, and the staff had even gone out of their way to decorate the room with balloons and roses for the birthday! The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the city centre which saved us a taxi at night and around a 10 min walk to the train station. Truly the best experience from start to finish, will definitely recommend and be back soon! Thank you
